loudHUMAN.com is a space for visual storytellers to share how simple acts of generosity and servitude can save lives and offer solutions to make our world a better place. Posts spotlight non-profits, corporations, and products that focus on humanitarian causes. Using interactive graphics and gifs, I hope to create an immersive visual storytelling experience.
Digital media has always been a passion of mine. Since 2004 I have been working as a fulltime video editor. In 2008 I started Brooks Institute and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Visual Journalism. At Brooks I learned how to communicate a message using still photography, videography, and web development. Brooks Institute prepared me to keep up with the radical transformation in digital media and anticipate the future of UI/UX digital media. Skills include video, photo, and web; I am a real jack of all trades.
In 2011 I worked as the Multimedia Coordinator at a co-ed 9-12th grade boarding school, Cate School in Carpinteria, California. My role was to manage photography, video, and web development demands for internal and external purposes. I created content that promoted the School's outstanding students and dedicated teachers. A few years later I moved to Colorado and worked as a videographer and editor, meeting tight weekly deadlines. After returning to California, I joined the large Westland Floral company and its sister companies to manage a photo studio, product package design, e-commerce, and web development.

Since 2005, I have photographed weddings and events because all photography allows me to express myself as an artist. Each event, model, or product has characteristics and nuances which make my time with them special.
